Time & Attendance Project Support Analyst

Job Introduction

HR Time & Attendance Implementation Specialist (Workforce Software) Fixed Term Contract until 31 December 2026

Be part of our transformative HR systems journey.

We’re looking for an experienced and business-focused HR Time & Attendance Specialist to play a key role in the rollout of Workforce Software (WFS) across our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how we capture, manage, and optimise workforce time—ensuring a seamless transition into Business as Usual (BAU).

Working alongside the HRIS T&A Lead and cross-functional teams, you’ll bring a developed operational lens to system implementation—ensuring processes, policies, and compliance requirements are fully aligned.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own and Shape Business Processes

  • Provide business-led input into the configuration of WFS, including schedules, approvals, rules, exceptions, and balances
  • Ensure system logic reflects HR policies, operational needs, and UK Working Time Regulations
  • Validate data and support migration activities from Employee Central (EC), including business sign-off
  • Act as a key guardian of HR process integrity and governance

Lead Business-Focused Testing (UAT)

  • Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios based on real business processes
  • Validate end-to-end workflows across timekeeping, scheduling, approvals, and payroll
  • Capture, track, and support resolution of defects from a business perspective
  • Maintain robust test documentation to support audit and compliance requirements

Support Payroll & Workforce Readiness

  • Validate payroll accuracy, including parallel runs, ensuring outputs align with expectations
  • Conduct pre-go-live HR checks, including data accuracy (e.g. TOIL balances, schedules)
  • Collaborate closely with HR Operations to ensure organisational readiness

Drive Cutover & Change Readiness

  • Execute HR-focused cutover tasks to ensure smooth system transition
  • Test cutover plans and sequencing with HR, IT, and Payroll stakeholders
  • Support communication and change management activities to drive adoption
  • Create clear SOPs, process documentation, and user guidance

Be a Go-Live Champion

  • Provide hands-on support during go-live and hypercare
  • Review initial payroll impacts and validate business outcomes
  • Support managers and employees with system queries
  • Participate in issue triage and resolution to ensure a stable transition
  • Maintain post-go-live guides and documentation

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Workforce Software or similar T&A platforms (e.g. UKG/Kronos, Dayforce, Oracle, Workday, SAP)
  • Proven involvement in at least one full lifecycle T&A implementation or major enhancement
  • Strong understanding of timekeeping, scheduling, pay rules, and compliance from an operational perspective
  • Experience conducting UAT (script writing, execution, defect management)
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders and support change across the business
  • Understanding of HRIS/T&A/Payroll integrations and data flows

Desirable Experience

  • Experience shaping Workforce Software configuration from a business perspective
  • Background in shift-based environments (e.g. retail, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare)
  • Knowledge of union rules, UK Working Time Regulations, or multi-country implementations
  • Experience supporting cutover and hypercare phases
  • Previous roles in HR Operations, Payroll, or Workforce Management

Why Join Us?

  • Play a pivotal role in a high-impact HR transformation programme
  • Influence how workforce processes are designed and delivered across the organisation
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Be part of a project that drives real operational and employee experience improvements

If you’re passionate about HR systems, thrive in transformation environments, and enjoy bridging the gap between technology and business processes—we’d love to hear from you.
