Trainee Electrician

We are currently looking for a Trainee Electrician to join our friendly team at Ballidon Quarry, Ashbourne.

Role Responsibility

As the successful candidate, you will provide an effective link between the Operations and Engineering team. Delivering high levels of service quality to varied Electrical Engineering related activities. You will be working closely with all members of the site, reporting directly to the Quarry Manager responding in a timely manner to breakdown repairs with a keen eye for continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of electrics and ideally will have experience of working in a similar environment.

Required experience/knowledge:

• Conversant with 3 phase 415 Volt
• Basic installation experience
• Ability to read or be familiar with electrical drawings
• Basic knowledge of PLC's 
• Health and Safety

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Motivated
• Adherence to on-site Health and Safety policies and procedures
