Trainee Operative - RMX
Job Introduction
As an Apprentice Operative you will be bringing life to our Plant Production! You will actively participate in the manufacturing process for the area of the business where you are based. This could be Concrete, Aggregate, Asphalt or Building Products.
The role will be supporting the HS2 infrastructure project and will cover 7 production sites across the Midlands and North Oxfordshire. The base site is easily accessible via most major road networks, based in the heart of the Midlands and is commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Kenilworth, Nuneaton, Redditch, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Tamworth, Towcester, Stratford-on-Avon, Royal Leamington Spa, Daventry, Northampton, Rugby and the surrounding areas.
As part of your apprenticeship, you will complete our Mineral Processing Mobile And Static Plant Operator (PODP) equipping you with the knowledge and skills to excel in this field.

Role Responsibility
In this role, you will:
- Operating production equipment such as cranes, forklifts, mobile plant and fixed plant systems
- Undertaking basic maintenance and inspections on the site which you are based
- Contribute to keeping the working environment safe, ensuring our high standards are maintained
- Be a role model in your approach to Health and Safety
- Work collaboratively to build a culture of continuous improvement through teamwork and communication
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment and ensuring safety comes before anything else!
- Taking pride in all work completed and being determined to succeed!

Educational Requirements
- GCSEs A-C (9-4) in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications.
