Joining our team as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Assistant you will be entitled to a highly competitive basic salary and a great range of benefits.
This is an opportunity for the successful candidate to enter the Construction industry. You will get full support, training and the opportunity to progress, working alongside qualified, highly experienced Quantity Surveyors.
Should the successful candidate demonstrate the required willing and capability then we will invest in their future further by funding an Apprenticeship Degree course in Quantity Surveying. This will be via University education which you will undertake on a distance learning or day release basis.
This is a great place to gain exposure to the full range of Quantity Surveying skills, working on a variety of contracts and schemes.
Role Responsibility
- Working for a range of clients from both the Private and Public sectors
- Working closely with and be mentored by the Lead/Senior Quantity Surveyor and Operations teams as you deliver the commercial function and financial performance of the Project/Contract
The Ideal Candidate
To be suitable for this role we are looking for a candidate that possesses the following skills:
- IT proficient
- Organised and possess strong communication skills
- Driven, confident and have a passion for learning
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Qualified to A-Level standard
- You will be numerate and will have a Math GCSE
- Interest in Quantity Surveying
- Live locally to venue
