Transport & Fulfilment Planner

We are currently looking for an Transport & Fulfilment Planner to join our friendly team based in Bawtry.

Role Responsibility
In the role of Transport & Fulfilment Planner you will be responsible for:
- Ensure 100% adherence to all Transport legislation and Safety protocols understanding safety starts with me
- Ensure all policies, processes and tools are utilised which will ensure customer deliveries are planned with a high level of accuracy and within service level agreements.
- Address scheduling issues with the Fulfilment & customer service teams and provide solutions to resolve.
- Analyse network performance identifying opportunities for continuous improvement with a focus on maximising profits and reducing costs.
- Meet financial targets relating to all Transport related activity
- Work with suppliers/hauliers to identify synergies to either reduce cost or maximise utilisation
- Effectively utilise the TMS (AX) to carry out the day-to-day Transport related activity
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Transport & Fulfilment Planner will have experience of:
- Driver Management
- Drivers Hours & Regulations.
- Industry Legislation
- Operational costings
- O Licence
- Operational Efficiencies
- Development and internal and external relationships
- Positive Communication
