We are currently looking for an experienced Weighbridge Administrator to join our fantastic team at our Langford Sand and Gravel Quarry, which is located close to Newark in Nottinghamshire. The site is easily accessible via from Newark-on-Trent, Lincoln, Mansfield, Sleaford, Nottingham, Grantham, Worksop and surrounding areas.

Role Responsibility
Duties of the Weighbridge Administrator will include the day-to-day operations of the weighbridge, plant operations and administrative site/quarry tasks. The role is to operate safely and with meeting production demands. Working to keep housekeeping around site to a high standard.
Your role will include (not exhaustive):
- Work to site/quarry daily production targets with production and weighbridge operations and provide administrative support to site tasks
- Follow SHE policies and procedures
- Ensure site related operational equipment in keeping with the role conforms with safety requirements at all times
- Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality responsibilities
- Acting on defects and raise awareness for remedial action
- Ensure that plant availability is maximised within your role
- Housekeeping across the site to provide optimum production
Please note this is a DAY shift role Monday – Friday and Saturday AM on rotation, along with OT available to meet with the site production needs.
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in the role of a Weighbridge Administrator, the following is what we are looking for in a future colleague:
- Knowledge of Weighbridge, Quarrying, Production and Administrative operations
- Good administration, numerical and IT skills are required in this role
- Good Timekeeping – Flexible as to the sites manufacturing requirements
- Good Communication skills – bringing problems to the attention of Line Management
- Full UK Driving Licence
- IT Literate
Previous experience as a Weighbridge Administrator (or similar) working in a Plant/Quarry environment would prove highly beneficial; but this is not essential as training will be given to the right candidate.
