We are currently looking for a Weighbridge Operative to join our fantastic team based at Tarmac Sonning Quarry site in Reading.

Role Responsibility

Reporting directly to the Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for general administration, monitoring site reception and the day to day running of the weighbridge.

This involves ticketing lorries in and out of site, processing plant controls and maintaining the high personal safety expectations of the site, including high standards of housekeeping.

You will be working with a team focused on great customer service, especially providing good quality material and on-time deliveries to a varied customer base and to achieve this, you will need to work collaboratively with the rest of the team.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be able to have the ability to work with and actively support fellow colleagues but also challenge other members of the team as required  

You should also have the ability to explain Logistics issues to non-functional personnel and be flexible, confident and have a collaborative approach.
