Commercial Administrator
Job Introduction
About the Role
Reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor, the successful Commercial Administrator will be responsible for commercial admin duties in the commercial team. This can include material ordering & invoice checking, order receipt and set-up and managing overdue payments.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you as the successful Commercial Administrator will be carrying out the following duties and responsibilities (not exhaustive)
- Materials ordering.
- Invoice processing and matching with delivery notes on SAP.
- Maintenance and management of debtors list.
- Maintenance of scheme tracker.
- Setting up new orders on SAP system.
- Maintaining subcontract framework agreement register.
- Attending meetings and taking notes
What we are looking for
Although not essential, we are looking for a Commercial Administrator who ideally has:
- Experience in a finance, commercial or quantity surveying environment
- The ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
- Show high levels of accuracy, drive & determination
- An understanding of the Microsoft Suite of programs; namely Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- If you have experience of SAP, this is not essential, but would be beneficial
