Planning Supervisor

We are currently looking for an Planning Supervisor to join our friendly team based in Buxton.

Role Responsibility

In the role of Planning Supervisor you will be responsible for: 

• Acting as the first line planning and co-ordinating contact for hauliers and external contractors to ensure the effective planning of shipping of products from mortar plants

• Ensuring a customer first focus whilst optimising profitability and maintaining key systems to achieve this

• Supporting local plant management, Commercial teams & the logistics function to focus on operational and commercial excellence in delivering profitable material solutions to the customer

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role of Planning Supervisor will have experience of:

• Driving license (desirable)

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Experience in planning haulage / production / plant outage schedules

• Dealt directly with customers

• Experience working with Microsoft packages

• Issue resolution / customer management

• Negotiation and customer influencing
