Quality Systems Manager

We are currently looking for a Quality Systems Manager to join our friendly team based at T3 in Birmingham. Although location can be negotiable for the suitable candidate.

Role Responsibility
In the role of Quality Systems Manager you will have experience of:
Establishing, coordinating and maintaining the company’s quality management system (QMS) procedures and processes to fulfil the requirements of ISO 9001. Responsible for the quality management of the UK network of depots, terminals and blending facilities.
Establish and maintain systems and procedures for:

the monitoring of production control at the company’s blending facilities.

the monitoring of product quality to comply with internal and external requirements at the company’s blending facilities and terminals.

to ensure customer expectations are met for products supplied from the company’s blending facilities and terminals.
Be the lead interface for the company’s blending facilities and terminals with quality assurance and product certification bodies.
Provide quality communications and briefings for internal and external audiences.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Quality Systems Manager will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a technical / quality management role (ideally concerning the supply of materials to the concrete/mortar industry).as well as experience of:
- Degree or equivalent in a quality or (similar) related discipline

Auditing experience

Communication, negotiating and influencing skills

Cement manufacture knowledge

IT skills
-
Understanding ISO 9001, ISO 17025 and relevant product standards
