We are currently looking for a Sweeper Driver to join our friendly National Road Planing team based in RAND, close to Market Rasen in Lincolnshire.  This role is easily commutable from the towns such as Lincoln, Louth, Scunthorpe, Sleaford, Newark-on-Trent, Gainsborough, Saxilby, North Hykeham, South Hykeham, Waddington, Collingham, Horncastle, Woodhall Spa, Brigg, Caistor, Welton and the surrounding areas.

Role Responsibility

Duties of the Sweeper Driver will include the day-to-day operations in support of the site.

To be successful in this role you will be responsible for (not exhaustive):

• Previous experience driving a Sweeper 
• Knowledge of the construction Industry 
• Able to complete manual handling duties for gully sucking purposes
• Good time management skills to help meet sites requirements and manage workload  Liaising with the Planer Foreman and Operatives regularly and working together as a team
• Working safely and in conjunction with current Driving Regulations
• Comply with company standards and procedures and be in regular contact with the NRP Transport Manager who will check such details and provide useful feedback plus help with any Driving Issues etc.

The role of Sweeper Driver works a varying work pattern and includes extremely good renumeration for both overnight and weekend working, which is expected as part of the role.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role of Sweeper Driver we are looking for a candidate who has Driving experience ideally within a similar work industry. They will also:

• Previous experience of site work driving sweepers would prove highly beneficial in this role
• Possess knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Be motivated and able to work both independently and as part of the wider team
• Be flexible and adaptable in your working approach
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills

Essential

• LGV (HGV) Class 2 / Cat C licence as a minimum
• Valid Digital Tacho Card
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• CSCS Card – would be beneficial although not essential

Due to the nature of the role, you must hold a FULL UK manual car driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
